A New Spencer’s Location in Williamsburg
On April 27th, we opened the doors to our newest Spencer’s location in Williamsburg, Brooklyn — our third home, and perhaps our most personal space yet. Located at 136 N 10th Street in the heart of Williamsburg, the new spa reflects an evolution of everything Spencer’s has become: intimate, transportive, grounding, and quietly indulgent.

Designed by Jessica Blumberg and Ryan McCarthy
The Williamsburg location was designed by Jessica Blumberg of Dale Blumberg Interiors in close collaboration with Spencer’s CEO & Founder, Ryan McCarthy.
Together, they blended global influences with Spencer’s existing design language to create a spa that feels warm, transportive, and restorative. The result is a modern wellness space that feels equally nostalgic and contemporary — an ode to all things sexy in traditional spaces.
A Spa Inspired by Traditional Japanese Design
From the beginning, the goal for the Williamsburg location was to create more than just a spa. The vision was to design a warm, welcoming environment inspired by the feeling of discovering a hidden Ryokan tucked away in Tokyo.
The space draws heavily from traditional Japanese interiors and early 2000s urban Japan references, blending minimalism with sensuality and comfort. Every design decision was made to encourage guests to slow down, disconnect, and feel at home.

Thoughtful Materials and Intimate Details
Materiality became a central focus throughout the design process. Exposed wood beams, Shoji doors, private skylights, and a modern zen garden shape the atmosphere of the spa and create a sense of calm throughout the space.
Guests will also discover custom pottery and woodworks, vintage art and rare books thoughtfully placed throughout the spa. These details were curated to make the experience feel intimate, layered, and lived in.
A Wellness Experience Designed to Feel Like Home
Every Spencer’s location is rooted in the idea that wellness should feel approachable, beautifully designed, and emotionally grounding. The Williamsburg spa continues that philosophy while introducing a new level of intimacy and texture.
More than anything, the space was designed to feel like an extension of home — a place where guests can disappear into for an hour, unwind after treatment, or simply take a moment away from the pace of the city.
Appointments are now available at Spencer’s Williamsburg. We look forward to welcoming both new and returning guests into our Williamsburg home.
